Is your group looking for a permanent meeting space? Write Now Writers
along with Bedford Photography Group are just two recent additions to Bower
Center for the Arts. If you are interested in either group - Write Now Writers
meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. The Bedford Photo Group
meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. Bedford Chanters and Bedford
Knitters also hold their meetings at the Bower. To learn more about these groups or to use the facilities for your own organization contact Bower

The Wharton Memorial Foundation Bower Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization located in historic downtown Bedford,Va. at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Bower Center serves the greater Bedford community by promoting artistic and cultural activities and provides education in the arts. In addition the Wharton Memorial Foundation preserves two historical Virgina landmarks and maintains the Wharton Memorial Garden.
