Fifty local artists throughout the Bedford area have joined together in support of Bower Center's community arts programming by donating their works of art for the "Red" exhibit. This exhibit will be hanging from Nov. 2nd to Nov. 26th and will be on display during the Wharton Foundation's Bower Center for the Arts first major fundraising event "Paint the Town Red" Gala, Saturday, November 5th, 7PM.
The evening will be include a light buffet, music, dancing, a silent art auction,
art demonstrations and a special presentation in recognition of Dr. John Bower's continued support of the Bower Center for the Arts and its
commitment providing community arts programs to the Bedford area.

The Wharton Memorial Foundation Bower Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization located in historic downtown Bedford,Va. at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Bower Center serves the greater Bedford community by promoting artistic and cultural activities and provides education in the arts. In addition the Wharton Memorial Foundation preserves two historical Virgina landmarks and maintains the Wharton Memorial Garden.
