Happy Fourth of July Weekend!!

Bedford has so many great activities to offer we couldn't possibly list them all, but we thought we'd try to give you a few ideas:

You can begin the weekend by stopping at the Bedford Area Welcome Center on Burks Hill Road. Sound funny going to your own local visitors center?
Actually, you will be amazed how much they have to offer. From wine tours to historic Poplar Forest, they can provide all the information you'll need on events and activities in and around the Bedford area. And while you're there, check out some of their wonderful displays. Just stop by or visit their website http://www.visitbedford.com/. So, whatever it is you choose to do:

  Libertyfest - July 4th!!  this annual celebration held in Bedford's Centertown market area begins at 5pm...Lots of food and music in a family atmosphere that is highlighted by The National D-Day Memorial grand fireworks display!
You can view these from either Centertown or Liberty Lake....Just bring a
lawn chair and relax.
