The Wharton Memorial Foundation Bower Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization located in historic downtown Bedford,Va. at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Bower Center serves the greater Bedford community by promoting artistic and cultural activities and provides education in the arts. In addition the Wharton Memorial Foundation preserves two historical Virgina landmarks and maintains the Wharton Memorial Garden.

"Abstraction" Exhibit coming soon!
At the beginning of the summer The Bower sent out a call/notice to all area artists asking for submissions of abstract art. The exhibit "Abstraction" will be ready and hanging on July 17th!
