It all began with Bedford County neighbors playing a little music together.
Their passion for the beautiful sounds of traditional and Celtic music brought Patti Black, Jean Wibbens, and Barbara Compter together and Riddle on the Harp became a trio. Their concerts take you on a musical adventure through
the sounds of the British Isles which exerted a strong influence on traditional
American folk music. Beautiful renditions of these classics will have you close your eyes and envision the Scottish Highlands! The trio performs with a
variety of instruments to create their extraordinary sound including the harp, hammer dulcimer, recorder, and bowed psaltery. Riddle on the Harp has performed at the Annual Celtic Festival at Poplar Forest along with several concerts at Lynchburg's Academy of Fine Arts, Givens Books, and the Sedalia Center. On Saturday, August 13th 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm, The Bower Center will have this wonderful trio here to perform for you!
