Blues, Jazz, Country, Mark plays a variety of music. He was raised in the Mississippi delta and has been playing guitar since he was eleven. In high
school Mark majored in the Tuba and it was there he developed his passion
for all types of music. He plays with multiple groups, and has sat in the studio
with such greats as Vassar Clements. Tonight, Mark will be at the Bower Center ready to entertain you! Join us for an evening of great music!
The Wharton Memorial Foundation Bower Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization located in historic downtown Bedford,Va. at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Bower Center serves the greater Bedford community by promoting artistic and cultural activities and provides education in the arts. In addition the Wharton Memorial Foundation preserves two historical Virgina landmarks and maintains the Wharton Memorial Garden.
