The Wharton Memorial Foundation Bower Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization located in historic downtown Bedford,Va. at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Bower Center serves the greater Bedford community by promoting artistic and cultural activities and provides education in the arts. In addition the Wharton Memorial Foundation preserves two historical Virgina landmarks and maintains the Wharton Memorial Garden.

Fantastic Friday - Awesome Art
The doors opened for our "Abstractions" reception with a steady flow of visitors stopping by to view some fantastic abstract art! It was an easy stroll through the exhibit with background music provided by DJ and singer Terry Day and a selection of tasty bites, punch, and soft drinks. There was also a
