The Wharton Memorial Foundation Bower Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization located in historic downtown Bedford,Va. at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Bower Center serves the greater Bedford community by promoting artistic and cultural activities and provides education in the arts. In addition the Wharton Memorial Foundation preserves two historical Virgina landmarks and maintains the Wharton Memorial Garden.

The Wharton Memorial Garden
An application is under consideration that would include the Wharton Memorial Garden in the Central Virginia Public Gardens Brochure. A committee is in the process conducting the necessary site visits to the gardens. We're hoping our beautiful garden will make it into the brochure so that visitors coming into Bedford will stop by for a visit.
