If you're interested in keeping a family journal, poetry, or perhaps writing a
short story then try stopping in for a Write Now Writers meeting. They are an
informal group of local writers and poets who all share the same passion for creative writing in several different genres....poetry, essays, memoirs, etc.
The writers meet twice a month to share a few stories, poems, and usually a hearty laugh or two. Critiques offered only if requested. The group focuses more on expressing ones creativity with words, this is not English 101!
So if you like to write and have stories you wish to share? Join in the fun!

The Wharton Memorial Foundation Bower Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization located in historic downtown Bedford,Va. at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Bower Center serves the greater Bedford community by promoting artistic and cultural activities and provides education in the arts. In addition the Wharton Memorial Foundation preserves two historical Virgina landmarks and maintains the Wharton Memorial Garden.
