instructions and tips - but the children designed their own work!

These fine ornaments will be hanging from Bower Center Christmas Tree
 on display at the Bedford Welcome Center. We'll let you know when it's there!

Second Friday! Kids + Art = FUN!

Fun for kids of "ALL" ages at the Bower this 2nd Friday. All children were invited to come in and make a Christmas ornament (or two)! They really worked hard and created some wonderful ornaments to share with you. These
ornaments will be adorning the Bower Center Christmas tree that will be on display at Bedford's Welcome Center. But more than that, each ornament
represents the magic of a child's imagination when given the opportunity to
create. Local artists and teachers did their magic too - providing instructions
and guidance in the process. It was So much FUN - that it will be on the calendar for November's 2nd Friday - So TELL your friends! Bring your
children and make an ornament for our tree, and one for your own!
There are no activity fees for this program - sponsored by the Wharton Foundation's Bower Center for the Arts.

There will additional posts showing off our ornaments - and the fun everyone
had making them. A special thanks to the artists and teachers who attended
and helped guide some of the projects. Community art is a collaborative effort
But what a wonderful thing it is when children are given the opportunity to
explore their minds, and create!
