There is plenty going on this summer at the Bower! Several classes and workshops are set to begin as soon as: June 1st - Wed. 6pm - 8:30 (5 wks)
Mosaics as Garden Art- Bird Bath - Instructor Dotti Stone will teach you
about design, materials and how to have fun creating a bird bath using a 14"
terra cotta saucer as the basin. Create your garden's focal point and spoil your feathered friends with a colorful place to stop for a drink and a splash on a hot
summer day. (The 8 week Introduction to Mosaics and Mosaic Technique

The Wharton Memorial Foundation Bower Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization located in historic downtown Bedford,Va. at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Bower Center serves the greater Bedford community by promoting artistic and cultural activities and provides education in the arts. In addition the Wharton Memorial Foundation preserves two historical Virgina landmarks and maintains the Wharton Memorial Garden.
