The Bower Center has opened its doors to welcome local students for after school and summer enrichment programs the past two years. Well, we're doing it again this summer!! Students from Bedford Middle School have come to the Center for pottery, mosaics, and music classes during the school year and instructors have
gone to Bedford Elementary and Primary Schools to teach drawing and mosaic classes there. We have an
extensive list of classes available this summer. Don't miss the opportunities at the Bower.
The Wharton Memorial Foundation Bower Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization located in historic downtown Bedford,Va. at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Bower Center serves the greater Bedford community by promoting artistic and cultural activities and provides education in the arts. In addition the Wharton Memorial Foundation preserves two historical Virgina landmarks and maintains the Wharton Memorial Garden.
