Marc Baskin Concert - July 16th 7:30pm

July 16th, 7:30pm The Bower Center presents Marc Baskin in Concert. Raised in the heart of the Mississppi delta Marc Baskin picked up his first guitar at age 11. His passion for music includes everything from rock, country
to beach and bluegrass. Marc has been in the studio with such greats as Vassar Clements and currently has guitar, bass, and vocal tracks on six cd's along with three of his co-writes having been recorded.  His love for all different types of music keeps him playing steady in multiple groups, as well as playing other solo performances like this evening's concert. When he's not on stage,
Marc can be found in Hayden Music at the Valley View Mall in Roanoke where he teaches guitar and ear training. Marc's unique and varied music style has made him a favorite throughout many venues in southwest Virginia.
